Representative, Khunti. A seminar was organized on World Hindi Day in the Hindi Department of Birsa College on Friday. The college's in-charge Principal J. Kidon started the program by lighting a lamp. He discussed the global presence of Hindi and explained the importance of Hindi. He said that the spread of Hindi is making its dominance outside the border of India. He appealed to respect the Hindi language and contribute to its progress. The Principal told about the history of celebrating Hindi Day. Dr. Sudhanshu Sharma said that Hindi is necessary for the unity and cultural diversity of India. He told that Hindi is a group of dialects which is its strength. Dr. Abhishek linked it to cultural imperialism and said that its global promotion is necessary. Dr. K. Minj discussed the improvement in the condition of tribals with the help of Hindi. Rajkumar Gupta said that Hindi is being taught in other universities of the world today. Dr. Sangeeta Sanga, Dr. Priyanka, Prof. Indira, Matilda Kandulna, Namrata, Singa and others were present on the occasion.
Hindi Day celebrated at shyor Success Coaching Center:
World Hindi Day was celebrated at Shyor Success Coaching Center in Murhu on Friday. The institute's director Sakaldeep Bhagat, while addressing the students, told them about the history of celebrating World Hindi Day. He said that we should be proud that Hindi is our national language. It is a language that connects our identity and our culture as well as the people. Teachers Savitri and Riya along with students were present on the occasion.
